The newly launched Galaxy Watch 8 & Watch 8 Classic smartwatches are now getting their latest August security updates. The new firmware is meant to increase the overall security of the device and to make sure everything is in its original place. It is the second update for the watches since their launch last month. Samsung packed the new version L500XXS1AYH7 in a file size of 163MB. Along with the security code, the company has patched system performance by removing known minor bugs.

The August software update for the Galaxy Watch 8 series is now rolling out in South Korea, which will soon expand to other countries. To make sure you have received the latest August patch on your watch, go to the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone and search for any pending software update. The Galaxy Watch 7 series and Watch Ultra may also soon receive this new version.
