Samsung is planning to release the sixth installment of One UI 8 beta software for the Galaxy S25 series. The database server has already revealed that the next version will be ZYH9 and could be released at the end of this month or early next month. As per the sources, it is likely to get two new Galaxy AI features. The famous tipster on X, Tarun Vats, believes Samsung will introduce the Read Aloud function to the Now brief and Audio Eraser function to the Gallery.
Both Audio Eraser in Gallery and Read Aloud for Now Brief function have been first introduced for Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 devices. Now, with the next One UI 8 beta 6 update, the company will bring it for Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra smartphones.
From the names, you can identify the work of both features. You can now hear your everyday briefing with the read-aloud, and you can get rid of unwanted or disturbing voices from your video footage using the audio eraser function.
The next sixth update will be the last beta version for the S25 series, and after that, with the September security patch, Samsung could launch stable One UI 8 software.
The source hasn’t clear whether both functions will come to other galaxy devices in their next beta updates. Currently, the Galaxy S24 family, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 are in a beta testing program. More devices will join the testing program next month.
