When we thought Samsung might have discontinued the Galaxy Fit series, the news coming ahead hints it’s probably not. The tipsters at Windows Support are lucky enough to gather vital information about the next Samsung fitness tracker. Luckily, the tipster has shared some images of the Galaxy Fit 3. The leaked pictures indicate Fit 3 will adopt a larger display, new straps, colors, and new features. In the last four years much has changed, and Samsung doesn’t want to miss it.
The previous Galaxy Fit 2 had a 1.1-inch screen, but now in 2023, all the fitness trackers are launching with bigger displays. The main rivals Mi Band 8 & Fitbit Charge 6 have an over 1.6-inch screen, so Samsung doesn’t want to stay behind. In the other specs, Galaxy Fit 3 may receive GPS support to track live location in every activity. The screen will be AMOLED, and there could be more workout activities compared to previous trackers.
It is a fitness band, so there is less chance it will launch with the Wear OS platform. Samsung could tweak its software with RTOS and some new features like music streaming, voice assistant, and Bluetooth calling function. As per the report, Samsung could introduce it in the next Galaxy Unpacked event along with the Galaxy S24 series.
