With the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has introduced a couple of AI features to enrich the phone experience. These all features will come to older Galaxy smartphones, and Samsung has confirmed which are those eligible devices. It includes recent flagship models Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Fold 5, and Galaxy S23 FE devices. In the coming weeks, they will receive AI functions bundled with the One UI 6.1 version. The sad part is new mid-range devices will not get these new features.
Samsung has excluded this yearβs two hot smartphones Galaxy A34 5G & Galaxy A54 5G from the list. I am also surprised by this companyβs decision because they are new and capable of running AI functions. Further, not a single feature of AI will come to mid-range devices including Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 edition. When the company releases One UI 6.1 update in the future, it will opt out AI functions from the list.
To remind you, the South Korean giant has introduced many new AI assistant features for its flagship devices. It offers Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, Photo Assist, and many more functions. The new firmware for these models will start rolling out this month. For Galaxy A34 & A54, users have to wait until next month. There is a chance next Galaxy A35 & A55 may get AI functions.
