In a new year, Samsung has finally launched its next-gen smart band Galaxy Fit 3. The new fitness tracker comes with a bigger display, bigger battery, and more features. The main highlight of the Galaxy Fit 3 is its large 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 256 x 402 resolution. Compared to Galaxy Fit 2, there is a huge increment in the display size. The company has changed the main body from polycarbonate to Aluminium and it has IP68+5ATM water resistance support.
Along with it, you can apply over 100 watch faces with custom dials on the front screen. Further, for the first time, Samsung’s smart band gets blood oxygen level (SpO2) and fall detection functions. With a new tracker, Samsung has also improved Camera Controller or Camera Remote app. You can now zoom your camera from the gadget to take better images. The Fit 3 will let you play your favorite songs and control it from the band.
In a calling function, you have only the option to receive a call or reject it, but to answer the call, you still have to use a paired smartphone. The smart notification will also let you reply to the messages with simple texts, emojis, and supported stickers.
Here is the official specs sheet for all the features that are coming with the Galaxy Fit 3 smart band.
It has grabbed some features from the Galaxy Watch series like the new Sleep Coach & Snore detection. You can use both functions from the Samsung Health app to improve your sleep score daily. In a workout, it added more than 100 workout modes to the band with the auto-start ability. Samsung claimed its battery will run for 13 days on a single charge.
