Two major devices are now getting One UI 6-based January 2024 security patch from Google. Samsung sent out new patches for both phones to enhance their security by taking care of old bugs. The Galaxy S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra lineup receive firmware version G99*WVLS9FWL2 in a file size of 310MB. The other Galaxy S23 FE gets build number S711USQS1BWL6 in the same size.
The Galaxy S21 series update is rolling out in Canada, and the S23 FE is in the US on Verizon carrier. Both phones are eligible to update their software to the One UI 6.1 version in March or April. It could be the last major firmware for the Galaxy S21 lineup if there is no One UI 6.5 version. Galaxy S20 & Note 20 have already terminated from the One UI 6.0 update.
