Last year was up and down for the Galaxy S22 series, specifically the last few months. It was always too late for this 2022 flagship model to get any software, be it security patches or major updates. In 2024, it is going to change. Now the correct time, Samsung has released the January 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S22, S22+ & S22 Ultra devices in the US.
The latest firmware S90*EXXS7DWL8 has been seeded with a 300MB file size. It only applies a security patch to take care of over 75 issues that were spotted in previous software. The firmware has been released in North America including the US & Canada. Apart from Galaxy S22, the new patch has been delivered to Galaxy Flip 4, Fold 4, Flip 5, Fold 5 & mid-range Galaxy M32 smartphones.
