In the US, users can now install Androidβs January security patch on Galaxy Z Flip 3 & Fold 4 devices. First, it was Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4, and later it came to Fold 5 & Flip 5 foldable phones. Now, it is coming to 2021βs Flip 3 & Fold 3 devices in a new firmware. You can install firmware version F7**USQS5HWL7 on a device that is released in a small file size.
Samsungβs changelog noted it has brought improved security for device protection. Further, it enhances quality for a better user experience. It could be the last update of these foldables on One UI 6. Next month, they may receive more improved software updates based on the One UI 6.1 version. The future update will launch with battery protection and burn-in protection features.
