Earlier this week, a new rumor emerged claiming that the next Galaxy Z Fold 6 will use a 200MP HP2 ISOCELL sensor. It further claimed improved picture and video quality, which is comparable to Galaxy S24 Ultra. As per the new report at GalaxyClub, it will not happen as Samsung is still testing the 50MP camera for the next foldable. The folks at GalaxyClub found, the company is working on a 50-megapixel primary camera with some polishing. It also may be using the same front-facing camera on one of the most expensive phones on earth.
The only hope is that it is early testing, so Samsung could switch to a 200MP sensor at a later date. Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Flip 5 have 50MP cameras, but the output is not satisfied when you put them aside for Galaxy S23 Ultra & S24 Ultra. Along with the camera functions, Fold 6 will get a better hinge, a larger outer display, and improved battery life. The launch date for new foldables is in July along with Galaxy Watch 7 & Buds 3 Pro devices.
