With the Galaxy Fit 3, users had many expectations when it launched in most countries. We know it comes with a bigger 1.6-inch display, SpO2 monitoring function, over 100 workout modes, and a longer battery. Still, some users ask about the key features of the product, and the most asked is whether the new smart band supports ECG & BP functions. As we found on the official product page, both features are missing from the Galaxy Fit 3.
It could be price point or there may be another reason, but Galaxy Fit 3 does not offer ECG & BP functions. Instead, it adds some other features like SpO2, sleep coach, snore detection, 100 sports modes, HIIT or interval training, and auto workouts. These are the possible features in this price range, and Samsung tried to pack all of them. If they want to bring premium features, then the cost will be much higher than previously predicted.
Galaxy Fit 3 fitness tracker will counter Mi Band 8 & Honor Band 8, which are prominent players in the market. Both offer a wide range of functions and are almost sold in major regions. These features ECG & BP are for now exclusive to the Galaxy Watch series and supported in most countries. Galaxy Fit 3 has launched in the market from April this year with an affordable price range.
