Do you know you can control your phone camera with Galaxy Fit 3? If you have forgotten, then I will remind you, yes, it is possible to control your phone camera with the new Samsung fitness band. It was first launched on Galaxy Fit 2 in 2022, but no one knew about it, because it was too late for the product. Now, the same feature has been inherited to the new tracker with some additional functions. Also, you can use it with any Galaxy Phone or Android phone. You don’t need flagship Galaxy phones to work it, you can buy any Android phone to use.

To use the Camera Controller on Fit 3, go to the apps and services list. Now scroll down below until you see the Camera Remote function. Don’t be confused; it is the same controller app that you see on Galaxy Watch 6 or Watch 7. Here, on the fitness tracker, Samsung has changed its name. The reason may be the difference between the features of both app versions. Now, just click on the function to open the camera from Galaxy Fit 3.

You can see that the phone’s camera has started automatically. Finally, click on the capture button to take a photo, group photo, or selfie. Note that the function will not switch the camera. To do that, you have to change it on the phone manually and later capture the image from the Galaxy Fit 3. You can also record videos from both cameras.

The Camera Controller function on the Galaxy Watch series differs from this one. The function on smartwatches only supports high-end premium phones like Galaxy S23, S24, Fold 4, Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 6, Flip 6, etc. The smartwatch version has more features, such as a timer. On Galaxy Fit 3, you can only click a photo, and further, you can’t switch between the front or back camera.
