In a regular update, Samsung has brought a February security patch to the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. It is now available to install for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor variant. The Exynos variant will also get the same treatment in the next few days or weeks. The latest firmware version G990B2XXS5FXA7 has been identified on the phone with a 310MB file size. Samsung pushed a new version to enhance the overall security of the smartphone.
In a press release, the company mentioned to fixe over 62 big and small software bugs and other vulnerabilities. Users in India can now look for the latest patch, and other users should wait a few more days to receive it. The S21 FE Snapdragon 888 model is eligible for the next four major Android versions, but Exynos will receive its last major update this year. Both will soon get the One UI 6.1 software version in March or April.
