Google is thinking of bringing back one of the vintage features on the next Android 15 version. According to the new report, Google will relaunch widgets on the lock screen from Android 15. The widgets on the lock screen were very common until Android 5.0 Lollipop software. Later, for some reason or due to lack of use, it was removed from the Android 6.0 version, and to date, it is missing on every Android device.
The new finding in the Android 14 QPR2 beta version, Android Authority spotted some widgets that support the screen. In the widgets, it shows Google Finance, Google Clock, Google Calendar, and others. It is not clear whether it will support third-party widgets or only Google widgets. The support will come from Android 15 or One UI 7.0 version for Samsung users.
