The US users on strike with their phones are one by one receiving the latest security updates. Yesterday, many flagship and mid-range devices have received new patches. Today, Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra are two mega phones that are getting their first January 2024 security updates. The new code starts with N986USQS6HWL5 has been rolled out in the region.
It is a regular update and only comes to secure the device. It removes over 75 vulnerabilities from the code including one serious issue. The same firmware might be released in other countries this week or next week. The last-gen phablet phones have missed the One UI 6.0 version, and will never get the One UI 6.1 version either.
